The comparison between BodyPost and Under Armour running tops

The best way to choose the best is to try the top ones and compare the results. I was looking for the best running top for me for a long time. The perfect does not mean only superior athletic performance but also mean a decent outlook. So I decided to test two well-known brands BodyPost and Under Armour. First I pointed out what are my requirements from a perfect running top.

Both tops are of a similar design, and both claim to offer cutting edge technology to enhance performance in all running conditions. My experiment was to put them both through a 5 mile run, and see not only how comfortable they were, but also how cool and dry they kept me, and how good they looked after the run.

My first reaction of the BodyPost Running Vest was that it seemed great, but I wasn’t convinced that a garment that had such an emphasis on fashion would have much substance. The fabricated Moisture Transport System of the BodyPost top made me feel cool and dry after even a 5 mile long run. That is certainly what I expected from it. The additional bust support provided by the built in shelf bra was also a welcome addition – something that makes all the difference in comfort and confidence when performing high intensity activity.

One of the most common problem of all running vest is that those rides up when working out. I didn’t face that trouble with BodyPost vest and it stayed firmly in place throughout the run. After a long run I was tired and unable to change my cloths for about half an hour. But by this time I found my top completely dry and there’s been no symptom that I was running so long!

The BodyPost Tank Top makes me comfortable throughout my hard working sessions as well as stylish when I’m am in the bar for a drink or at the gym or lounging around in the city because it has a flattering fit look. You can wash this top with your every day laundry and there is no need to iron. It was dry and ready a few hours later all set to be worn again. Two different sizes and three different colors are available. It is offered on the BodyPost website for $28 including delivery.

Besides the Women Interval Singlet by Under Armour is primarily designed as a serious piece of exercise kit and you will get high quality performance from it. I selected the medium which is my common size, however, I needed to exchange for a large size, due to the small sizing of this tops. The Moisture transport system and the strategic ventilation technology in Under Armour tops give you excellent result on the run. Though it felt a little uncomfortable as it seemed to pull surprisingly at the back of the garments. This was not a huge issue, but still worth noting. The top also contains an ant-odor system which is an extra advantage for extreme activities. A feature which is missing in Under Armour item is the bust support system which I think is very important for a running tank. The Under Armour top appears a little loose and baggy that is not preferred by most women.

It will provide you good result in running and athletic environment but you have to change it as soon as you finish your activity. The top washed very well, and yet again didn’t take long to dry. It costs $24.99 from the Under Armour website. According to all of the above criteria, my overall winner is the BodyPost Athletic Generator Top. Because it is not only a useful sport kit but it also includes some features like bust support system that gives you more feminine and fitted appearance, quick cooling and drying technology which you can’t find in other sports kits in the market.
