The HyBreeze Strap Athletic Generator Top by BodyPost

In my search to get the perfect running vest that also looks as good as it performs, my attention was brought to 2 potential contenders – the HyBreeze Strap Athletic Generator Top by BodyPost, and Under Armour Interval Singlet Running Tank.

First I noticed what my requirements from a perfect Running Vest are. In my test both the tops showed enhanced performance and cutting edge technology in all running conditions.

My experiment was to put them both through a five mile sprint, and see not only how comfortable they were, but also how cool and dry they kept me, and how good they looked after the run. My first impression of the BodyPost vest was that it seemed great, but I wasn’t convinced that a garment that had such an emphasis on style would have much substance. I must say that I was very pleasantly proved wrong on this, and the BodyPost moisture transport system that is included into the fabric certainly did the job – I still felt cool and dry even towards the end of my faced paced five mile run.

This Tank top also features an inbuilt bra that offers additional bust support and boasts up my confidence during high intensity work pressure. The top also stayed firmly in place throughout the run – there is nothing more irritating than a vest that “rides up” when working out, and I am happy to say I didn’t feel this trouble. After a long run I was tired and unable to change my cloths for about half an hour. But by this time I found my vest fully dry and there’s been no symptom that I was running so long!

I would also feel confident enough to use this top after a work out session, for example, to stop for a drink in the bar at the gym, without having to change into something else, as it is very flattering fit and look. After using the top, I also washed it with my daily laundry, and it came out looking just as good with no need to iron. It takes a short time to become dry so you can use it again soon. 2 different sizes and three different colors are available. It is offered on the BodyPost website for $28 with delivery.

On the other hand the Women Interval Singlet by Under Armour is chiefly designed as a serious piece of running kit and you will get excellent performance from it. I chose the medium which is my common size, however, I had to exchange for a large size, due to the small sizing of this garment.

The Moisture transport system and the strategic ventilation technology in Under Armour tops give you excellent result on the run.

Though, I did experience a little uncomfortable as the back of the garment seemed to pull surprisingly. This was not a huge issue, but still worth noting. The vest also consists an ant odor system that is an extra bonus for long runs. The top, however, doesn’t include any bust support, which I feel is a vital factor for me when selecting a tank top for running. It is also quite loose and baggy; based on your preference; you may prefer something more feminine and fitted.

It will provide you good performance in running and sports environment but you need to change it as soon as you finish your activity. The top washed very well, and yet again didn’t take so long to dry. It comes with just $24.99 from the online stores of UA.

My overall winner is the BodyPost Athletic Generator Top. Because it is not only a useful sport kit but it also includes some features like bust support system that allows you more womanly and flattering look, fast cooling and drying technology which you can’t find in other products in the market.
