Hyundai to launch its new small car Eon in India
Hyundai Motors the famous South Korean company, is planning to launch its new 800cc car Hyundai Eon. Hyundai India has renamed its Hyundai H800 as Hyundai Eon. The Hyundai EON Price in India is expected to be around Rs 3 lakh which can be afforded by every pocket. By launching Eon, Hyundai wants to challenge Maruti Alto which is the best selling car in India.The launch date of Hyundai Eon is not revealed yet but Hyundai Eon in India has been planned to be launched in the month of October. As per the Hyundai Eon review, Hyundai Eon will consist of 800cc three cylinder petrol engine and will be very fuel economic. As per the speculations, the manufacturing of Hyundai Eon is already started and it can be launched in the month of October. Hyundai Motors is also planning to increase its dealers as it lags behind in dealership as compared to Maruti Suzuki India.
The design of Hyundai Eon will be similar to Hyundai Santro platform but the dimensions of the car will be smaller than Hyundai Santro. Hyundai Eon price is expected to be Rs 3 lakh which can create a threat for the low priced car specially Maruti Alto as Hyundai Motors wants to challenge Maruti Alto which is the best selling car in India.As per our sources the car will have a five speed manual gearbox. The engine will produce 50 hp power. Since it is claimed to be an inexpensive car, it will be devoid of luxury features like air bags, audio system, etc.
The company has named the new Hyundai H800 as Hyundai Eon. The Hyundai H800 price is not yet revealed but it is speculated that the price will be under Rs 3 lakh. The main competitors of the Hyundai H800 will be Maruti Alto and Chevrolet Spark.
