Honda Brio to be priced under Rs 5 lakh, launch on Sep 27
Honda India plans to launch its new hatchback Honda Brio, it is expected that new car will launch on 27th September, this year. The Japanese auto giant is planning to keep Honda Brio priceunder Rs 5 lakh so that it can attract lot of car buyers who are looking for a cheaper hatchback. It is speculated that Honda Brio will have loads of features that are characteristic of Honda brand car however, few security features are expected.
The Japanese Auto company, Honda is always known for its top class safety features. Honda cars are composed of safety features like ABS (Anti Braking system ), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), body cage and airbags. All its cars carry the G-Con body cage that provides more safety in case of a collision along with standard anti-lock brake systems. But this time Honda India wants to reduce the price of Honda Brio so, it is expected that company may drop some security and safety features on the base variant in order to start the Honda Brio range at a low price. Mostly, it is not noticeable but safety features like airbags increase the price of car by Rs 45,000 to Rs 60,000. It is expected that safety features like airbags will not be included in the base variant. Previously there was an issue related to price of the hatchback car of Honda like Honda Jazz and Honda City. At that time Honda slashed the price of Honda Jazz by Rs 1.5 lakh and the Honda City price by Rs 66,000.
Honda Brio features a simply outstanding crease on its body and a forward inclined stance. This styling is something by which user will go crazy for and to increase its demand. Honda Brio will have tail lights at a lower end and the rear is mostly all made of glass. This concept of all glass back is something rarely seen in this segment and this gives it a different look.
