Safdarjung’s Tomb- A beautiful Mughal Heritage
The tomb of Safdarjung was built during 1753-1754. It is the last mausoleum erected by the Mughals. Nawab Shuja-ud-daulah had built the Safdarjung’s tomb for his vicar Mirza Muqim Abul Mansur Khan prevalently known has Safdarjung. Safdarjung had been the governor of Kashmir before he became the Wazir ul-Mamalik-i-Hindustan, that is, India’s chief minister.
