The South Korean car manufacturing company Hyundai is speculating to launch new 800 cc car in the Indian car market named as Hyundai EON to compete with cars like Chevrolet Spark from Chevrolet, and Maruti Alto from India’s major dominating car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki India Limited. Last few years have witnessed tough competition in the hatchback segment of cars in Indian car market mainly in the 800 cc cars. The new Hyundai EON is expected to hit the Indian roads during forthcoming festive season of October this year. Although the Hyundai EON Price in India is not yet announced but it is expected that as it would be in direct competition with Maruti Alto it will be available with price tag of Rs 3 lakh.
While discussing the Hyundai EON Review, the South Korean giant Hyundai acclaims that the new Hyundai EON will be equipped with three cylinder 800 cc engine and will be best the car in the 800 cc car segment in Indian car market in terms of performance and fuel efficiency. Secondly going through the craze of customers towards the cars available within an affordable price ranging between Rs 3 lakh to Rs 6 lakh for Hyundai EON Review it can be said that this car will undoubtedly prove to be the constraint for Maruti Alto. However one worrisome point which should be considered as an important element while discussing the Hyundai EON review is that as an impact of increase in petrol prices there is shift towards the diesel cars and is such situation it would be interesting to see how the Hyundai India copes with this constraint besides competing with Maruti India’s Maruti Alto and Chevrolet’s Chevrolet Spark.
However coming towards the Hyundai EON features revealed so far indicates that it has 814 cc engine generating the power of 48 bhp and torque of 50nm. It has sitting capacity of 4 persons supported 5 speed gears.It is expected that the launch of New Hyundai EON will play an important role in pushing up the sales of South Korean company Hyundai in India and strengthening its stake in Indian car market. There are rumours that production of Hyundai EON has already taken place and there were long round of speculations to make it competitive with Maruti Alto from Maruti India Limited. With launch of Hyundai EON one thing is quite confirmed that it will widen the choice for the Indian customers with Chevrolet’s Chevrolet Spark and Maruti Alto from Maruti India Limited.
