Leading South Korean car manufacturing company Hyundai is soon going to launch its new compact car Hyundai EON in segment of 800 cc cars in Indian car market. There are rumours that Hyundai Motors is speculating to launch Hyundai EON in India during the festive season of Diwali during next month. Coming towards Hyundai EON Price in India expected to be available with price tag below Rs 3 lakh. Earlier codenamed as Hyundai H800, Hyundai EON is supposed to face tough fight from its contenders mainly from Maruti Alto of Maruti Suzuki India Ltd and from Tata Nano of home grown company Tata Motors.
Hyundai EON review states that car has been designed keep in in concern two major issues i.e. condition of Indian car market and secondly Indian roads. Besides this Hyundai EON review reveals that car is equipped with 3 cylinder, 800 cc engine followed by 4 valves designed to meet BS IV emission norms and Euro 5 standards. It is embedded with 5 speed manual gear box for acquiring necessary speed. Engine embedded in Hyundai EON is expected to generate power of 50hp with standard torque according to its power. It is also speculated that Hyundai EON may carry some of the features from its ancestor Hyundai i10. Although Hyundai EON is small sized car but it has leg space left between the seat row. However unlike other low cost cars it also does not carry the additional features like airbags, audio system etc which are mainly founded in luxury cars. The launch of Hyundai EON in Indian car market will play an important role not only in pushing the sales of Hyundai Motors in India but also extend stake of Hyundai Motors in Indian car market.
The most important factor which needs to be discussed while talking about Hyundai EON review it would be worth mentioning to see that what strategy Hyundai adopts to cope with constraint like increasing petrol prices due to which there is shift towards the diesel vehicles. Though whatever the situation would be that is hidden in future but one thing that would be interesting to see will be the tough fight between Maruti India’s Maruti Alto, Chevrolet Spark from Chevrolet and Tata Motors’s Tata Nano which at present are highly acclaimed cars in Indian car market as far as market of small cars in concerned. Let us hope that Hyundai EON succeeds in meeting the hopes of Hyundai Motors.
