Get Some Reward Via Charity Donation
Don’t spend valuable time asking yourself why isn’t the world a better place to live in. Thinking about it will only be wasting time. That fact is, you cannot change the world. But you can change yourself. The question to ask therefore is this: “How can I make the world a better place to live in?”.
To that there is an answer. I believe that we all can learn something about ourselves by helping others. It is important for us to step outside of our comfort zones and do something good for the community. Helping people in need is a good indication that you are living your life with a sense of value. Awareness in the need of others is desirable. Open our eyes to global issues to see what our love and our skills have to offer to the rest of the world, so to speak.
In today’s economy a lot of people are struggling. What we can do is to look out for each other and help each other to survive in these trying times. It doesn’t matter how old you are, how tall or short you are, how smart or how much money you have in your bank. You too at some point in your life will need help. But now that you are in the position to help others, why not do it?
You can make a change. You can make a difference today. Remember that film “Pay It Forward”? I do think that is possible to repay a good deed by helping others. To dream BIG by starting small. Doing little good things can mean a lot to those who need it very much.
Start by gathering information on how you can help. Ask your friends, ask your church about what is going on in the community and how you as members of the community can help each other. Remember, you can be a better person by helping others.
Try volunteering if you have some free time or during weekends perhaps. Experiencing first hand how others struggle can help you realize how blessed you are.
You can also help by donating to charities. But not just any charity, choose only ones that are really reliable, committed and sincere. Choose a charity that really, really helps people. Check their background, and see if they do support what you want to stand up for. And then be the light.
