Charles Crispin: One of the Highly Respected Business Leaders in Managed Care Industry
Touted as one of the most prominent leaders in the managed care industry, Charles Crispin has effectively showed to anyone that he has what it takes to lead the prestigious Evergreen Re Inc. Before he finally reached his well established career, he traveled a long path of success and failure starting from the point where he was a humble consultant in this line of industry. He showed to the world that he does not only have excellent academic background as a bachelor’s degree graduate from the University of Florida but also has the capability of performing much more than what everyone else can. Among his most impressive accomplishments in the early stage of his career was the creation of the Medicare marketing strategy that helped one of the fastest growing Medicare Risk plans companies in the country. Coupled with his great leadership potentials, he easily gained the trust of his employers who entrusted him managerial positions until he was finally credited with executive roles.
Currently, Charles Crispin concurrently serves as the President and chief Executive Officer of Evergreen Re Inc. Numerous significant improvements on the company’s various operations and sales performance have been achieved since he started holding the executive positions. One of the most notable improvements under his leadership was the development of the Evergreen Re Optimal Reinsurance Analysis. This proprietary modeling approach and analysis was basically intended for reinsurance decision-making operations. He was also among the main contributors to the success of the Evergreen Re Managed Care Indicator project. The main focus of the project was to implement a nationally recognized survey on the involvement of the Provider Organization in the risk contracting of the managed care services. Also, the effectiveness of the Evergreen Net Cost & Theoretical Solvency Analyses, which benefited various large healthcare organizations, was attributed to Charles Crispin.
Despite his hectic schedule in leading the Evergreen Re Inc., Charles Crispin still finds time to actively participate in the operations of some non-profit organizations. Included to these organizations are the Provider Excess Loss Association and the Orange bowl Committee. Apart from that, he currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Coral Gables War Memorial Youth Center Association. He is also part of the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Burn Center as the Advisory Board. These and more explain why he has earned the respect of people in the healthcare and managed care industry.
