Char dham has a special relevance in the texts of Hinduism and it is called pilgrimage of 4 divine seats of almighty god. The third in the list of chardham destinations is the wonderful abode of lord Shiva by the name Kedarnath and this place is located at height of 3584 meter. You have this wonderful temple and this lies at backdrop of river Mandakini. You must know that Kedarnath ranks among the 12 jyotirlingas of one of the three chief gods of Hinduism, lord Shiva. You have a 14 km track route to reach this temple and this starts from Gaurikund. This is a wonderful temple and has the history related to the era of Mahabharata. The final spot is Badrinath, the holiest of dhams and it is at an altitude of 3133 meters in Garhwal. It is a spot dedicated to lord Vishnu.
