Suits have always been an in-demand costume for men over the ages. We have seen our grandfather wearing them, our father wearing them as well as our friends wearing them now. Though various kinds of trends and fashions have come and gone over the years; there have been almost no changes in the pattern of suits in these years. Tailored suits had been a favorite with stylish men then and are a favorite with fashionable men till date. Many men dream of having made to measure suits in their wardrobe, but few are able to fulfill the dream as it is extremely high on affordability.
There are many things regarding selection of suits which have to be kept in mind. If you are a businessman or a corporate head, who needs to attend meetings frequently or needs to go to various events, seminars and conferences; the choice of suits will be different. They will be very formal stuff particularly designed and tailored for the same purpose. Infact, they help in making an impression on the other people as required but are great on the comfort factor. The business might demand travelling from one place to another on a frequent basis and these suits are very handy in such situations.
There are certain qualities that tailored suits must have to make them exclusive. Some of these qualities are as follows:
• Quality – The quality of fabric used in suits is very important. There are many suit materials that are cheap and the suits also bear that impression. Well made suits are always made of good materials. If you are looking for winter suits, select materials that have a woolen touch and feeling to it. But for summer suits, you can opt a little lighter material for the suits.
• Stitch – Any made to measure suits will have hand stitching that makes the suits so expensive. Usually such suits are used at special and rare occasions and need good amount of maintenance too. There are also good and exclusive suits that are machine stitched; but they lack the elegance and grandeur of hand stitched suits. This is where these suits become tailored and exclusive.
• Cut and fit – Any suit that is tailored for a person should have that cut and fit that is just perfect for him. Exact measurements are taken while ordering the suit and the suit is stitched according to that. This is where these suits are different from general suits that are widely available in the market.
• Lining in the suits – Lining in the suits is a very important thing that should be taken care of. There are some suits that require woolen lining while some suits have satin linings. The material of the lining should be checked again and again as there are chances that the lining material may shrink.
• Choice of shirt and tie – When you are getting tailored suits, you must make sure that you make the right choices regarding the shirt and the tie that you will wear with it.
