Amit Vijayavergiya – A Versatile Person
Amit Vijayvergiya has more than ten years experience as an electrical engineer. His current employer is AMCDE and his responsibilities include designing electrical circuits. The main focus of his job is to design electrical circuits for petroleum, gas and oil equipment. The electrical circuits designed by him have been used for lighting, protection and grounding of systems. They have also been used in overhead transmission lines and underground electrical networks. His concrete knowledge about various electrical circuits has helped him succeed in this field. He has however not limited himself to just his area of expertise, he has also constantly updated his computer skills as well. This has enabled him to use advanced software while generating proposal estimates. The proposal estimates given by him are accurate. He has also used rendering software while designing electrical circuits on numerous occasions.
One of the things that differentiate Amit Vijayvergiya from other engineers is his communication skills. He has a knack of being able to explain proposals and charts not only to people within his area of expertise, but also outsiders who need not have a science background. It is this quality that marks him out as a useful leader who can communicate at all levels, be it clients, managers, or employees.
Amit Vijayvergiya finished his Bachelors Degree in the field of electrical engineering, before doing graduate courses that would enable him to work in the oil industry. While doing his graduate course he also gained the skill of designing electrical equipment. He got a paid internship due to this skill. The paid internship gave him time to concentrate on other aspects of engineering including business.
During the internship period he was forced to re-evaluate not only his communication, but also public speaking skills. He found out that he needed to improve his communication skills and so he underwent a communication course. It was during this course that he honed his communication skills.
