A Quick Look At Horse Mats
Animals are a great joy to many people who take a lot of pride in tending to the needs of their pets. Providing them a clean dry place to live is just as important as making sure they have plenty of water, food and exercise. Horses have some additional needs that can be managed by the use of horse mats that help maintain health and cleanliness of the horse stables.
For an equestrian, it is always a good time to go horseback riding, but there are horse stalls to keep clean before the fun can begin. A good way to manage having more time to ride, is to keep each of the horse stalls equipped with horse mats that not only help keep them dry, but fight back fungus and disease.
Once the horse stables are clean it is time to go riding, and every good equestrian knows that is the best time of all. Fresh air, sunshine and a nice breeze, there is nothing else that can equal the sensation of being so free. Over hill, over dale, and off to the neighbors house to meet with the rest of riders.
There is no other way for an equestrian to spend time than horseback riding with friends. However, you are glad you bought mats for the trailer to help the horses keep their balance while pulling off down the road. With horses loaded the sense of adventure mounts and the riders load up in their trucks and off to the new trail ride.
Arriving at the intended destination, everyone unloads their horses and saddles up for the weekend ahead. There are many different types of saddles and bridles and the jingle of metal, be it spurs or bits, helps add to the atmosphere of what fun lies ahead. The other riders have an assortment of horse breeds, and each of them in different sizes.
The trail into the woods has a little surprise. The horses suddenly get spooked by the opening of a large dark cave. Riders are grabbing leather to stay atop their mounts, and when all is understood there are cheers of joy and shouts of anticipation as all return to the trail. The enjoyment of friends and horses is ever present on this excursion, and they are all filled with enthusiasm as they continue their joking and kidding.
After several hours of riding, and enjoying the fresh air, and smell of mother earth, a large clearing appears with picnic tables and a rock fireplace that is intended for cooking out. A hitching rail is provided for the horses and those who brought tethers have staked out an area for their horses to munch on the local grass.
This park was chosen by the saddle club for the beautiful waterfall where the horses and riders can swim. The pool at the bottom of the falls is half the size of a baseball field, and after the meal is concluded the horses and riders head off for the water fun to be had at the falls. Everyone swimming, horse and rider holding onto manes, galloping in and out of the water thoroughly enjoying themselves.
