Why do people get fast cars? What about fast cars spurs interest in every individual? It must be the addiction to speed racing. Or is it the automotive culture? It might even be the sounds, tones and vibrations that comes from fast cars engine bay. Fast cars are what some people want. Some people some how come up with argument as to why they need a garage full of fast cars. Whatever the reason may be, its definite, people will always want a group of fast cars. What are these compelling reasons to get them?
Let us define what fast cars. Fast cars are, besides being a song by Tracy Chapman, a group of cars who can accelerate and hold a top speed in the upper five percentile of every other car in its category. By category we mean race car, road car, off road car, etc. For example: a Bugatti Veryon is a fast road car but a Volkswagen Beetle is not.
Speed is addicting. That is the main reason many people want fast cars is speed. Mind blowing right? Who would have thunk. It is not speed that gets them but the raw power of the acceleration. To some its scary, to others it is exhilarating. The thrust that only a millimeter of throttle movement gives you is simply mind blowing and invigorating. For this reason alone many people love to purchase fast cars. A feeling that is like no others is to be going to fast that all the dotted lines in the middle of the road, or highway, merge together. That is how you know you have some serious speed going on.
Another reason many people purchase fast cars is that they simply want to be untouchable on the road. When a driver is encountered with another vehicle that seems to match its acceleration in seconds and top speed, they are seen as a threat. A threat to their manhood and their vehicles reputation. These are things that some people do not take lightly. For this reason, they must have the fastest cars on the road. What is the cure for this feeling of threat? Purchase a group of fast cars. Each that has their own expertise; whether it be handling curvy roads, going fast down the straight line or speeding in the desert or woods: a group of fast cars are a must!
Another reason that many people purchase fast cars is that they are fun! Who doesn’t like speeding down the track watching your competition disappear, in a split second, in the rear view mirror. It is an invigorating feeling. Hi and bye. Dunzo. Simple as that.
For these reasons, people have a desire to purchase fast cars. The only problem with purchasing fast cars comes with the ignorance of how to use all the power. Without the knowledge, or expertise, of driving powerful cars comes the risk of putting ones, and many other innocent bystanders, life in danger just through the use of fast cars.
