More than a hundred of thousand spectators are expected to come to the Downtown area to watch the magnificent parade. This event will also be broadcast on television. After the parade is over, the fun will continue at the Broadway Pier with games and the annual Amtrak Big Bay Family Festival where your kids can enjoy carnival games and you can meet up with balloon artists. On 9th and 10th December, 2011, the La Mesa Blvd in Downtown La Mesa will take people back into Victorian era. Not literally, of course. During La Mesa’s Christmas in the Village, the downtown village will witness carolers, minstrels and street entertainers as they stroll the La Mesa Blvd. La Mesa Christmas in the Village is a wonderful family event where you can enjoy carnival rides, and puppet shows. Oh yes, there will be Santa too! Besides, it will be great for couples as well. You can take your beloved on a horse drawn carriage for a ride, or sit around the bonfire and listen to the wonderful LIVE music. Isn’t it romantic?
