Can’t Go Home
Whether you are considering taking a vacation in Austria, or have to spend some time there for business, I am sure that you will fall in love with this wonderful country. I had this happen to me upon arriving last year, and I have not left since. You see, the work that I do is kind of geared towards settling down for a year or two, in an attempt to understand the culture and the tourist side of the country. In researching the hotels Vienna had, I have had some of the most wonderful experiences that I could ever imagine. I have been hang-gliding, mountain climbing, off-roading, and even bungee jumping. I never thought in a million years that I would find myself strapped to a giant elastic, contemplating the thought of whether or not I should jump. Yet, this is the reality of Austria. It allows you to partake in activities that you normally would not have the opportunity to at home.
While my experience in Austria may seem a little extreme, you can rest assure that there is an abundance of slower paced activities that you can pick from in Austria. Whether tours of the old districts of cities is your thing, or fancy meals by a river, Austria has something for everyone. At the moment of writing this sentence, I am sitting in front of my Innsbruck hotel watching another satisfied guest pack his bags into a taxi cab. The look on his face tells it all. His is satisfied with his vacation, but he also feels like there is so much more to do in this wonderful country. I see it time and time again, and it never grows old. I would like to tell him that he can stay, but I am sure he has already contemplated that thought.
