Hyundai I20 Or Ford Figo – Which One Should I Buy?
Every one who travels frequently at some point of time gets exasperated with buses, trains and cabs and thinks in terms of buying a car. Undoubtedly a car is a convenient means of transport and is one of the best ways for travelling from point A to point B and even further on from there but acquiring it is not always an easy task. Buying a car requires a sizeable financial investment and hence a lot of thought so that ultimately the vehicle which is purchased is the one which is perfect for the situation.
In India, there are many brands in the car segment and models range from being as small as Nano and as large as Safari, Bolero and Innova. However, most people tend to settle down for a medium sized car to cater to their daily needs as such a vehicle is perfect for a family of four not to mention the ease of parking that comes with it. Some of the prominent brands in this segment are Hyundai, Ford, Maruti and Fiat and a detailed research on each of these would finally enable the buyer to identify the car of his dreams.
Hyundai arrived in the Indian market with its first launch named Santro and then after a number of experiments finally introduced its i-series. Meant as an improvement on the Santro the Hyundai i20 boasts of a new design and aggressive looks. On the outside this car boasts of alloy wheels with each bearing five spokes, tail lamps shaped like parallelograms and horizontal and vertical lines on the rear bumper. Within it is a brown and beige interior in combination with a black dashboard, digital multi-functional display, flat seats and plenty of leg room.
A family car in the true sense, Ford Figo may not look as trendy as some its competitors but it boasts of many dynamic features which make it one of the best options. This is probably the only brand which offers four choices for its interiors the most basic being bare-bones and the premium being Titanium. Some of its features which provide it with an edge over its competitors are spacious interiors with well proportioned head, leg and shoulder room, more than adequate boot space and Bluetooth connectivity.
The decision involving the two brands Hyundai and Ford is indeed a tough one and can only be made easier by first determining the purpose for which the car is being purchased. A few seminal factors in this context are how frequently will the car be used, is it meant for city driving and is it meant to serve as a family car or is just expected to run errands? An assessment of the number of members in the family would also be required to adjudge the size of the vehicle as also the area to which it would be mostly driven to.
On comparing the prices, i20 from Hyundai turns out to be on the higher side of the scale so for people who have budgetary constraints, the Ford Figo would be more economical option. Apart from that, it is just a question of earning the Ford fortunes in case of Figo and enjoying the positive ownership experience in case of the i20.
