Tirupati – A Visit to the Temple City

The Tirumala Venkateswara Temple is one of the most visited shrines in India. The temple is located at the hill town of Tirumala, in the Saptagiri hills in Andhra Pradesh. The temple is at a distance of 150 kilometres from Chennai and 250 kilometres from Bangalore.

The restaurant is situated in the basement and offers a choice of South Indian tiffin. The hotel offers value for money for the traveller on a tight budget.

Tirumala Residency

This hotel is located close to the railway and bus stations and also has an on- site restaurant offering basic fare. The hotel has been recently renovated. The rooms are small and are modestly furnished. The front office staffs are courteous and helpful. The hotel is appropriate for the budget traveller who wishes to use the room to rest and freshen up prior to visiting the temple.
