Back To School 101 Checklists
As the summer holidays end and you feel that slight change of breeze around you, the conscience inside you reminds you gently that all the fun and game at home is over. It is now time to bring the fun back to school. Usually after a long break, customizing yourself back to school life can prove to be a little tough.
It’s been fun, fun and more fun over the last few weeks and I’m sure that most of you haven’t written or revised anything in a long time. Getting back on track can be quite difficult at times and with a simple guideline, this task may appear to be an uphill battle. Here are a few tips that might just come in handy.
The first thing you can do is create a check list, a list of things that you will need for school such as uniform, books, calculators, stationeries and you get the rough idea. Once you’re satisfied with the list you’ve made, go around the house and check if you have everything on that list. Make sure your uniforms fit, shoes are polished, files and bags are in good conditions. If you manage the check every item on that list, you’re doing splendid.
Next, create a list of items that you don’t have and need to purchase, perhaps items like drawing blocks, compass, paint, items that you use constantly. With this list, you must now hit the stores and remember to be focused and only purchase what you’ve written down. While shopping, be sure to grab a planner because failing to plan is planning to fail.
Once you’ve purchased everything you need, sit down and take the time to arrange your table, books and clothes. School can be very taxing and the last thing you want to see is a messy room. A clean and refreshing workplace will certainly reflect on your work quality.
Once you’re all set and ready, take the planner out and draw yourself a daily timetable. This timetable will help you manage time better when you’re not at school. Do not forget to allocate some time to exercising and tuition. A healthy body creates a healthy mind.
One more important advice you can take is to cover the syllabus that you will be learning that year. Some light reading from each chapter will do wonders and you will never now until you try.
