3. Since the eye tissue will bind itself together, the flap will be repositioned back over the third layer without stitching it.

After the surgical procedure is done then you will be allowed to go home and rest for the next twelve hours. There is virtually no pain involved, all you will feel though is like something small and light that will be on the eye. You will then be ready to go back to your daily activities after the eye has healed which will be a couple of days.
