This tool is located within the GPMC and is labeled Group Policy Modeling.
When properly used, the modeling tool will provide you with an excellent and easily understandable report that will show you the complete impact of your policy decisions throughout the entire infrastructure. In Exercise 6.3, you’ll put this tool to use in a practi- cal but simple demonstration.
Using the Group Policy Modeling Tool
To perform this exercise, you must have a domain controller running Active Directory and at least one active Group Policy.
Start the GPMC by selecting Start Administrative Tools Group Policy Management.
Select the Group Policy Modeling folder.
Right-click the Group Policy Modeling container, and select Group ccnp exam Policy Modeling Wizard, as shown here.
On the Domain Controller Selection screen, choose the domain you want to simulate the performance on, and choose the Any Available Domain Controller Running Windows Server 2003 or Later option. On the User and Computer Selection screen, click the Browse button for both the User and Computer Information screens, and select the same domain for each for the sake of ease in this exercise.
