Different Types Valves
Introduction
Established since 1990, Triad Process Equipment manufactures high quality ball valves, butterfly valves, and control valves for all types of process control applications. Triad Process Equipmentserves most industries: oil and gas, automotive, chemical, water-treatment, and power industries, as well as industries focused on more sanitary production conditions, such as food, beverage, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries.
Triad’s high pressure ball valves have been used for painting, coating, and electro-coating in numerous automotive assembly plants, including General Motors, Chrysler, and Toyota. Most Triad Process valves are equipped with direct actuator mount stems and mounting pads for ease of valve automation. Triad has standardized on a stem seal design that is live loaded and pyramidal for high cycle life that provides superior sealing and compensation for wear. For thermal cycling processes, Triad offers the new TFM ball seat material, improving greatly over TFE and Reinforced TFE materials.
Ball Valves
Triad’s stainless steel ball valves are manufactured in industrial or sanitary design. Our sanitary ball valves are suitable for food, dairy, beverage, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical production. They are equipped with our exclusive pyramidal stem seal design proven to be far superior to our competitors when it comes to preventing premature stem seal leakage on high cycle applications. This ball valve is live loaded and provides tensional Belleville washers that compensate for wear during cycle life.
Triad supplies three piece, flanged, double union, three way, two piece, grooved end, and high pressure ball valves. Our series 66, 9150, and VS series ball valves meet the API 607 4th edition forfire safe design. Most valves come with direct mount actuator capabilities or are available with pneumatic and electric actuators.
Butterfly Valves
Most recently we have introduced the Triad 700 series of cartridge seated butterfly valves. This valve is far easier to install and use than the typical booted design butterfly valve. It is available through 36″ and comes standard with 316SS discs. It has most recently been the choice of Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Cambridge, Ontario for a cleaning process utilized to degrease and clean raw metal car bodies prior to painting.
High Pressure Valves
The Triad series high pressure valves offer full port 6000 psi rated valves in sizes up to 3″ and are suitable for steam, hydraulics, oil and gas production and all high pressure fluid applications. The VS series valves are used quite extensively in areas requiring a full port high pressure rated valve in large sizes.
