tink bugs are indeed stinky. They emanate an appalling odor from their body; and it takes hours to get rid of the stench. They emit the unpleasant odor, whenever they sense danger. These are small shield shaped insects, either green or brown in color, with bright colored spots. A good means to identify their presence is whitish or yellowish spots on the fruit and vegetables, and clusters of drum shaped eggs with circular covers, often found on the leave clusters.
Measures for stink bug control and means to get rid of them:
Prevent Entry: The perfect way to stop the stink bugs from entering the house is to seal their entry. Just before the summers are about to come to an end, seal all the cracks and crevices in the house by caulking. In the nights ensure all the doors and windows are closed as these bugs like light and warmth.
Use of chemical pesticides: There are plenty of new jersey stink bug extermination professionals available in the market. You could call on any of them to spray chemicals around the house and get every single bug out. But using chemicals comes with other hazards too, so think twice before using this.
Vacuuming: These bugs can be removed by vacuuming. Be careful not squish them. After vacuuming, don’t squeeze the bag. Just remove the bag, seal it tightly and dispose them safely into some landfill area.
Use insect repellents and sprays especially made for Stink bugs. Spray these repellents on the doors and windows of your home, and any other place through which you think they could make their entry into the house.
