Fake Degree Pranks
Playing a prank on the parents or friends by coming back home after completing college with a fake degrees or diploma from the one you were studying for can cause rib cracking laughter. You can go with the degree that does not exist for some seconds of fun or the ones that exists for a longer period of fun.
All you need is the fake degree or diploma with the specific career, existent or non-existent. The short ones can come in all different wordings such as “Degree in mole catching” or “Degree in critical methodological analysis of the world”. These can be deciphered by the target audience to be fake diploma and thus you can only use them for a few seconds of fun before producing your real degree or diploma. The short joke document does not have to be professionally done too.
The more sophisticated fake diplomas however needs some research and should be as real looking as possible. If for example you went to college to study Engineering, you can come back with a degree in Anthropology or if you went to study Literature, you can come back with a degree in Aeronautical Science. The whole point is to step up or down depending on what you study, for maximum effect. You should adopt a straight face and present the document after the pleasantries in full view of all family members then watch their reactions.
Be careful not to burst out in a fit of laughter if you want the joke to last, the next step is to answer the many questions calmly. Some may try to verify this by asking questions relating to the career you claim in your degree or diploma and you are obviously expected to be at ease with this having done some basic research on whichever career you chose. They will ask about the course you went to study for and in response, just brush it aside by claiming you felt it did not excite you or speak to your heart as much as you wanted. If you downgraded for example from being a doctor to anthropology, beware because your dad may want to kill you at this point after the initial shock.
This will guarantee you a load of fun and laughter, just be careful they do not start celebrating and calling friends if you upgraded or simply let them know it was all a joke before anybody faints or gets a heart attack.
