Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 BSIV uncovered, more new chevy wheels to join soon
General Motor India today launched the much talked about BS-IV version of its new generation Tavera Neo 3 model in the Indian market. The New Tavera Neo 3 BS-IV is compatible with the new BS-IV emission norms of the country applicable since April 2010. In a bid to shelve the car competitively in the Indian auto market, the company has offered the car in the price segment of Rs 7.51lakh. It is to be noted here that GM India has already rolled-out the BS-III compatible version of the Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 model in the country last month with a starting price tag of Rs 6.72 lakh. The new BSIV Neo 3 is offered in only 4 variants in India.

The Neo 3 BSIV model will come powered by a 2.0L TCDi diesel engine to which the company has sourced from ICML (International Cars & Motors Ltd). The powerful engine of the car is capable of generating a peak output of 106.8 PS at 4000 rpm along with a massive torque of 263.7 Nm at 1750-2500 rpm. Moreover, the new Tavera is claimed to be delivering very good mileage of 12.26 km per liter..
Besides a new engine, the New Tavera Neo 3 BS-IV is carrying a number of cosmetic changes including a fascinating dual tone color theme at the exterior along with a dual tone front bumper. A broader Chevy bowtie logo has been has been shelved at the front with advance body graphics and integrated clear headlamps. Other upgrades at the exterior include multi spoke 15-inch alloy wheels and an attractive strip at the tail gate.
Inside, the major changes include attractive ‘Ice Blue’ illumination in combination with new dual texture theme, an all new 3-spoke stylish steering wheel and a 1Din music system.
