Volkswagen Polo IPL edition launch on April 4!
In early 2010, the German auto-leader, Volkswagen introduced its entry level two-box, the Polo in India. Since launch, it has been selling like hot cakes in the domestic auto-market. Sources say that with the arrival of Indian Premier League (IPL) season five, the car maker, Volkswagen has also announced to launch the IPL edition of its most popular hatchback, the Polo is expected to come 4th April, as it is an IPL edition. Volkswagen is the official sponsor of Indian Premier League and like it did in 2011, this year too, it has initiated to launch the IPL edition of Polo.
The Polo two-box is available in both petrol and diesel engine options. It is available in 1.2 liter petrol and diesel engine options, but if you want to feel more power, there is also another 1.6 liter petrol engine option available. The 1.2 liter petrol engine of this car has enough potential to churn maximum power of 75 PS @ 5400 rpm and peak torque of 110 Nm @ 3750 rpm, while its 1.2 liter diesel in-line produces peak power of 75 PS @ 4200 rpm and peak torque of 180 Nm @ 2000 rpm.
