However, Mahindra has launched new variant called ‘Executive’ in recent times, nevertheless the motive of increased sales has not been achieved yet. And with the launch of feature packed New Dzire, the morale is sure to become shaky now.
Tata Indigo CS
Now, arrives the head-to-head competition with under 4-meter Tata Indigo CS in the country. This sedan has base variant starting with a bit of lower price than the 2012 Maruti Swift Dzire, but if one gets several class leading features at a mere expense, why would he opt for a aged looking Indigo. But the question remains that has it got enough elements inside-out to challenge New Swift Dzire and the answer emerges in thumbs down status. Also, the price factor along with feature aspect plays an important role as the ‘below INR 5 Lakh’ term for a Maruti sedan excites the consumer, whereas Ford Fiesta Classic comes tagged with the price of around Rs 5.50 Lakh for the base variant.
Hindustan Ambassador
The vehicle with retro looks and an amazingly powerful engine that can tear apart any contender has been under sluggish sales as it has not received any major facelift since its launch decades back. The full sized solid built sedan has always been seen serving the nation with its roof mounted flashing red light and even today it performs the same boring duty. The price is lower as compared to the new generation Dzire, but on the feature front it moves out of the competition.
