ATF Marking Variance – Custom Engraved Lower Receivers
As a lower receiver manufacturers we get all sorts of calls asking whether we will manufacture AR15 lower receivers with other people’s names and logos on them. We are happy to manufacture custom engraved lower receivers. We use exactly the same process as for our own lower receivers, however the marking differs. In order for us to make custom AR15 lower receivers for your company you must supply us with an ATF marking variance. We can help you complete the ATF variance document, and it basically gives us approval from the ATF to make lower receivers with your company’s name on it.
The ATF tries to complete the variance within 90 days of it being submitted. Therefore, if this is something your company is interested in, it does take time, so be sure to plan ahead. After the ATF variance is complete we can start manufacturing the lower receivers with your name on them.
One of the suggestions we have for companies that want to get things done quickly is for us to mark the other side of the lower receiver with your logo. Our information is printed on the left side of the receiver, leaving the right side open for any type of marking. We are happy to get your logo either etched by our machine, or laser etched on the other side.
There is one catch to have us produce custom lower receivers for your company, or to have us do the ATF marking variance. Once the variance is approved, we require 100% payment for your order before we can start working on it. We offer many types of payment terms for our customers, but once we make your specialized lower, we are unable to sell them to anyone else.
