The conclusion of the trip
The coalition is in full swing, spending cuts are swingeing, does William Hague bat both ways, do Pakistan’s cricketers have any credibility left in the world of cricket and what did Monty say to inspire his Ryder Cup troops in the third session of play at a rain soaked Celtic Manor?
Burning questions of the month to which I shall let you ponder…an even more complex conundrum is why the US Ryder Cup team wore waterproofs which were as effective as sporting a string vest in front of a fire hose…sourcing from a company called “Sun Mountain” could have implied a problem from start…perhaps Monsoon Mountain wear may be the preferred supplier next time.
A final observation of current affairs…should be an interesting Christmas Day meal at the Milliband house…cold turkey anyone?
Since the last blog we have travelled to the World’s largest tile exhibition in the beautiful city of Bologna…home to parmesan and balsamic delights…shops galore on the Via Independenzia plus bars, restaurants and cafes numeroso in and around the simply magnificent Piazza Maggiore…wonderful…Italy is a delight and Bologna is a jewel as it is not on the tourist map.
The purpose of the trip…to view the latest tile and mosaic designs from the Worlds best manufacturers.
The conclusion of the trip…Europes factories are so much better than anywhere else with Italian factories still topping the charts in terms of quality, design, reliability and lead times.
A prime example of why Italy is the best…We can make murals from Italian mosaics of any image you can think of…case in point…recently installed in Leeds’ finest Italian Restaurant & Salumeria Salvo’s …a mural of the owners mother on a Vespa…an iconic image indeed …find out what we can “mural” for you…http://www.tilesandmosaics.co.uk/mural.html
Final thoughts… the US Ryder Cup team left our shores defeated despite an awesome comeback on the final day…Celtic Manor discover they have few towels left in the building as the TV crews leave soggy Wales and as X Factor takes precedence over all other programmes on TV we see Simon Cowell’s muse, Sinitta, appears to have bought faulty waterproof leggings from the same supplier as the US Ryder Cup team…apparently its what they’re all wearing in the Balearics…perhaps she should have selected something from an Italian boutique on the via Indepenzia Bologna?
Simon Cowell and Sinitta
Tiles and mosaics from Italy are the best that is why they are our preferred suppliers …
Arrivederci…
