Casio PX 330 Review – Awesome Quality at a relatively cheap cost

The first electric keyboard I ever owned was a Casio. I received it for my birthday over 27 years ago and it was not new when I received it, however I got much joy out of it for over a decade after that birthday. Technology has changed massively between now and then and so I was very excited to get to assess the Casio PX 330 and see how far digital piano’s had come.

I had not even been using the Casio PX 330 for ten seconds when I noticed the first key difference; the grand piano sound truly sounded like a grand piano. It is fantastic and I was quickly satisfied with the sound coming from the fantastic speakers. If I ever would need instant confirmation of the enormous development in digital pianos then this was it. Even as I delighted in the sound, I was delighted by the feel of the keys as I played them and they responded to the force I used just as an authentic piano would do. This is awesome, and a bit of study tells us this result is due to the Casio Tri-Sensor scaled hammer action technology used with the keyboard. My old Casio was limited in that it only had around 40-50 keys but the Casio PX 330 is a full 88 key digital piano which allows for a heap more realism when playing piano pieces of music.

As I looked at the special functions accessible I found out that the Casio PX 330 is excellent for those taking piano tuition or playing duets as the keyboard can be split in two even parts so that two players can play the same note at the same time. So the student can observe and listen to the tutor and play with them; the couple can play a love song together and become closer in their music performance. Privacy can be preserved as there are a pair of headphone jacks which can be utilzed by each player.

I had a sense that my inner creative genius wanted to be let loose when I came across the huge selection of rhythms and sounds this keyboard offers. And even better, there is a 16-track recorder and SD Memory card slot so I could record that aforementioned genius and then, via the USB connections, load that onto my pc so as to unleash it on my family members and buddies. Personally, I think that is fairly exciting although I am not sure if my good friends and loved ones would agree.

At the end of the day, I was suitably impressed. The Casio PX 330 has a whole bunch of capabilities that are very pleasing and I have not even mentioned that it is lightweight and thus straightforward to carry to gigs, churches, family members and good friends, wherever you wish to perform. One of the most popular consumer polls rate this keyboard 4.4 out of 5 so clearly it is an incredibly well-liked model in the market place.
