Chobits Costumes- Brings Virtual Look to Reality

The prevalence about Japanese Street Fashion has influence on tremendous youngsters that chased after the anime, manga and cosplay fields. Regarded as a Japanese manga created by the Japanese manga collective Clamp, Chobits was published by Kodansha in Young Magazine from February 2001 to November 2002 and collected in eight bound volumes. Chobits was adapted as a 26-plots-long anime television series broadcast on TBS and Animax from April to September 2002. In addition, it has spawned two video games as well as various kinds of goods such as Chobits Costumes, figurines, collectable cards, calendars, and artbooks.

In the near future, personal computers take the form of attractive women and men, called Persocoms (editorial note: “persocoms” actually means PC or personal computer in Japanese). Hideki Motosuwa is a poor student who failed his entrance exams to get into college. So, Hideki is forced to move to the city, get a job, and attend cram school in hopes of passing the next college entrance exam. He, of course, wants a Persocom for himself, but is way too poor to afford one. This is a compelling cosplay theme for female cosplayers, and the dollish Chobits Costumes from the anime are really attracted to many girls and cosplayers. Compared to cosplay costumes that conform to the almost girl’s preference, Lolita Costumes and Chobits Costumes are ranked at the top list for many Anime Cosplay conventions.

One of the most favorite characters owes to Chii with her exclusive Chobits Costumes. The series tells the story of Hideki Motosuwa, who finds an abandoned persocom, or personal computer with human form, that he names “Chi” after the only word it initially can speak. A “chobit,” a technologically advanced persocom rumored to possess true machine intelligence, with the ability to feel emotions and act on her own will, unlike other persocoms. Hideki finds her in a pile of trash as he makes his way home from work one night. Upon turning her on, she is only able to say the word “chi,” remembers nothing of her past life, and is unable to perform even simple tasks.

One day, while passing an alley, he finds a Persocom in a trash heap. However, his new find doesn’t seem to be like the others he’s heard about. She doesn’t seem to have any operating system at all, and only says “Chii”. As Hideki learns more about his Persocom, he finds that she is not of any known type, and most likely some sort of prototype model. Particularly, Hideki cosplay with Chobits Costumes would be a captivating appearance. He also learns of the rumor of the “Chobits”, Persocoms with the ability to think for themselves, instead of running only complex programs.
