The System X Certifications from IBM
IBM System X is one of the hardware products of IBM. Different System X certifications and their descriptions

The sales expert V3 certification deals with the technical aspects involved in the sales and are designed for the expert salesmen who understand the needs of the customers in a better manner. After being equipped with this certification, the holder would have an extensive knowledge of the system x applications and the servers. The requirement of this certification is a minimum of 18 months of experience on account of the candidate in the selling of System x products. There are two tests involved in this certification, namely the Test 000-151- IBM system x sales expert V3 and the Test 000-153- System x sales specialist V6.
While the sales expert certifications deal with equipping a professional in sales related technicalities, the technical expert certifications, as the name suggests, are designed to provide the individuals with an extensive knowledge base related to the work on the system x servers and the blade center systems. The professionals who are familiar with system x and blade center systems would be provided with a deeper understanding of the implementation, configuration and the installation of these systems. For attaining the technical expert V6 certification, the candidates are required to pass two tests in total, namely Test 000-152 – system X technical principles V10 and the Test 000-087- IBM system x technical expert V6. The number of questions for the certification exams is not fixed and also, the passing percentage is of a varying nature. However, the duration of these tests has presently being fixed as 75 minutes and the number of questions is approximately around 40.
The requirement for this certification is that the candidate must have a one year of experience in dealing with the system x. He must be well aware of the configuration and implementation aspects of the system x. Apart from this, he must also possess the knowledge related to the operating systems, including the strategies applied for the deployment of the operating systems. Also, an experience with the systems director of IBM is a pre requisite for this certification.
