My opinion of friendship first, competition second
About whether the friendship is important or the competition is important, people have debate for a long time. They can be divided into two groups, then, let’s see their opinions.
Almost all people think friendship is important than competition mainly for two reasons. Firstly, as we all know, the prize isn’t what great athletes really care. They enjoy the process of the game. If competition was put in the first, lots of dirty methods will appear. And the game’s true purpose is dismissed. Secondly, sometimes to hold a competition was just in order to building a bridge with others. So, friendship should be the most important.
On the contrast, some others think a competition should have a result. Although the friendship is very important, it doesn’t mean that we can give up game because of friendship. If you do like this, I think you are disrespect to the competition.
In my opinion, according to the object of the competition, we should have different views. If the competition’s objection is athletic, our goal is winning, and friendship should put in second, such as the Olympics. But if it just in order to building friendship with others, the result isn’t so important, this is just entertainment.
