An Overview on the Profile of Dr. John Jain as an Acclaimed Reproductive Endocrinologist
As a notable board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist, Dr. John Jain has become one of the most in-demand guest speakers for popular TV talk shows when it comes to fertility-related topics. He has appeared in TV and internet shows like “The Today Show”, “The Dr. Oz Show”, “The Dr. Phil Show”, “The Doctors Show”, and “Discovery Health (‘Deliver Me’ Series)”. Likewise, he has been among the most favorite technical advisors in several health-related TV shows like “Private Practice”. Dr Jain holds an extensive academic profile that he mostly earned at the University of Southern California (USC). His educational credentials include his BA in Classical Greek Civilization, MS in Anatomy and Cell Biology, MD with honors, residency in OBGYN, and fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. He also pursued a teacher career at USC as a full-time faculty for students of the university’s School of Medicine. Eventually, Dr. John Jain became a tenured Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a result of his unmatched passion and skills to share his knowledge for aspiring medical professionals.
One of the most significant achievements in Dr Jain’s 15 years of comprehensive academic experience is his completion of his study on fertility preservation and egg freezing. This study won him the top research prize given during the 2006 meeting of the Pacific Coast Reproductive Society. Meanwhile, another milestone in his career in academics is his publication of the review article on egg freezing for the prestigious journal, Fertility Sterility. Currently, Doctor John Jain continues his endeavors at the USC while serving as the Medical and Scientific Director of Santa Monica Fertility. He imparts his expertise on professional organizations like the National Ethics Committee of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the National Institutes of Health as well. He also presently owns and leads the operations of The Donor Egg Bank, which is the world’s second commercial frozen donor egg bank. At the same time, he also participates in the Advisory Council on Fertility Preservation for the NIH, along with NASA and the National Cancer Institute.
