Who Knew Dance School Required a Uniform?
One thing that many parents in the Hazelwood area don’t always consider when looking into a dance school for their children is the type of dance clothing that will be required. Many a budding ballerina has had her heart crushed upon learning that she will not be attending dance class in a tutu, so, it is best to inquire with the school about their dance clothing requirements before expectations are set and then have to be dashed.

Posture, balance, and alignment are integral to all forms of dance. Form-fitting clothing, like leotards, allows the instructor to easily see which students need extra help and who has a particular move mastered.
Some requirements are just obvious, such as tap shoes for tap class and ballet slippers for ballet class. A Hazelwood dance school may require a specific color for each, often black for tap and pink for ballet, so that come dance recital time, no one has to buy another pair of shoes in order to match the rest of the class.
