Lake Pichola: The Pichola Lake is a beautiful expanse of water which surrounds Lake Palace islands of JAG MANDIR and JAG NIWAS (Lake Palace hotel). This lake is surrounded by the hills. Pichola Lake has a dam called as Badipol and it is 3 km wide and 4 km long. It is the most beautiful and picturesque lakes of the city Rajasthan. It is situated in the heart of Rajasthan. It is the oldest and biggest lakes of Udaipur.
In the year 1362, this lake was built by the Pichhu Banjara in the ruling time of Maharana Lakha. It is surrounded by temples, hills, bathing ghats and palaces on its sides. On the southern side of the lake, there is a lake called as Machhala Magra. This lake comprises numerous islands which accompany calm water of the lake. Shrinathji Temple: It is located 48 kilometer from Udaipur. It is a temple of Lord Krishna and this temple has an image carved out of one block of black marbles. It is the world’s second richest temple. This temple is referred as Haveli which commonly used in Rajasthan city for the house of wealthy merchants.
