In today’s world, it seems that almost any topic is open for debate. While I was gathering facts for this article, I was quite surprised to find some of the issues I thought were settled are actually still being openly discussed.
Now that we’ve covered those aspects of Business Sharia in Indonesia, let’s turn to some of the other factors that need to be considered.
Currently business is sharia ( Bisnis Syariah) has become a trend in Indonesia. In recent years many emerging economic institutions that use sharia base. Many conventional banks are opening Islamic-based banking subsidiary. There Muamalat bank, Syariah Mandiri, BRI Syariah and others. The phenomenon of Islamic business trends in Indonesia today is I think a reasonable thing to remember Indonesia is a Muslim majority country. Even today not only banking only. Every business system does have the advantages of different business systems including sharia also has advantages. The principal advantage is the mutual benefit of both parties. And the main thing is to do business with Islamic system means participate and implement the teachings of Islam.
But whether those who claim to implement sharia business system that in reality is really running the business system of sharia? I myself can not provide a detailed review because I’m not an expert and has not been examined. But very likely they were really business as well as Islamic and very likely their business just raise slogans for sale only. So just to be an important marketing side there was the word sharia.
It is not easy to ensure a business that claimed to use the sharia system but they are not. In Indonesia, a majority Muslim population, of course, would be very interested if a business has a name that is in accordance with his religion even though the reality is different. And it is easy to use business people. Yet it is ironic as this may obscure the real meaning of sharia business.
