It was the first topless beach in India but now topless bathing has been banned here. And the third is Samudra Beach which is famous among the local fishermen of Kovalam. Varkala beach is also very popular amongst tourists. Located 37 km from Kollam and 52 Km from Tiruvandrum, the rocky outcrop and the dense groove of palm fringed tree with soothing climate of Varkala beach attracts large number of tourists from all over the globe.

 

Alappuzha beach is an amazing beach resort that has a number of fresh water lakes and rivers, making it the ‘Venice of the East’. The beach is considered apt location for fishing activity. It is also home to several unique and beautiful chirping birds, hence is also loved by bird watchers.

 

Another beach destination is Marari Beach which is located near Cochin in Kerala. The beach is an ideal location for a relaxing holiday.
