Tata Manza two tone scheme test mule spotted

Tata Motors is apparently working on one more limited edition of the Tata Manza sedan with a two tone paint scheme. The sedan will also feature some new features. Tata Motors have a forte for bringing limited editions of its popular cars, Tata brought limited edition of Vista and Manza to lure the customers to showrooms. Tata cars are stuck in the cabbie image and Tata keeps trying to break that image which Tata cars have attained. Until now a couple of refreshed versions are have been rolled out of Vista and Manza.

And therefore it is no surprise that Tata Motors is developing a new limited edition of Tata Indigo Manza. The spy shots of the sedan were caught testing and the Tata Manza pictures of the new limited edition clearly depict that the new upgrade will have new shade, the brick orange, this shade is a lot similar to the metallic orange which was available on the old Swift( when it was first launched in India). The brick shade is bright and looks more vivid when seen through the naked eyes, however, the spy shots the colour looks a little pale, though that is not true.

The two tone scheme on the Manza with a black roof and a black recess which will be for affixing the registration plate. A circular indentation was also seen on the left, if we look at it more carefully it looks like a reversing camera. This suspense will hatch only if we see more spy shots or when the sedan is launched as the test mule did not have any parking sensors on the sedan either. The spied sedan also sported leather upholstery; the Manza Elan model high end model which was launched in 2011 had fabric upholstery. Therefore the leather upholstery indicates that the sedan is going to get a new high end model or a limited edition trim which probably will get new luxury features.

The test variant was also spotted with the same alloys that is seen in the Manza Elan or the Vista 90 HP. No prominent changes were seen in the front fascia of the sedan. Tata Motors may be preparing itself to render new variants to its current line-up and launch new variants for the approaching festive season. Tata has been working meticulously to come out of the cabbie image of its cars. Be it Tata Indigo or Tata Indica the cars have been tangled in the cabbie image, which they have been trying to prick time and again. Tata is also working on the diesel and CNG version of its Nano. Tata Nano CNG was also put for display at the 11th Auto Expo held at the Pragati Maidan, Delhi, in the beginning of January 2012. However, buzz has it that the diesel version will be launched first and the CNG version will be launched later. Though these cars will see light of the day in 2013 hopefully, the Nano diesel will apparently deliver a whopping mileage; let’s see if it lives up to the expectations of the customers.
