Although professionally, MS Duck is doing well as a clip art character, she is no longer involved in movies, comic books or comic strips. Therefore little is known of her current personal life. When she did appear in comic books, she was receiving attention both from Donald Duck and his cousin Gladstone Gander. It is not completely assured, then, that she and Donald will ever marry.
When she is not in the studio, Daisy keeps busy as a member of an unnamed social club in Duckburg that raises money for charity. In the classic comic book, “A Christmas For Shacktown”, her club provides a feast for the poor residents of a Duckburg suburb.
Daisy is always drawn in a simple but colorful outfit. She owns a wide assortment of bows and always wears one in her head feathers. A bright short-sleeved, scooped-neck blouse completes her ensemble. Ms. Duck does not wear a skirt or pants. Nor does she wear shoes.
Leaving the lower torso bare might seem risque in some parts of the world, but it is perfectly acceptable in Duckburg, where everyone else dresses in the same fashion, and much more modest than the attire worn at Toontown. Ducks in the Warner Brothers stable of characters, such as Daffy Duck, wear no clothes whatsoever.
Daisy’s long, alluring lashes suggest an underlying sexual appeal that explains why she has the continued attention of two gentlemen ducks. Her friendly, but toothless smile gives her a wholesome, fresh appearance that proves you can have everything. It’s no wonder she is so beloved and that her clip art career is going so well.
