Real Salt Lake draws 2-2 with Colorado

COMMERCE CITY, COLORADO(AP) —Costa Rica EMU Australia Boots forward Alvaro Saborio scored in the 90th minute and in stoppage time to give Real Salt Lake a 2-2 draw with the Colorado Rapids to extended its Major League Soccer unbeaten streak to 14 games Saturday.

Real Salt Lake appeared headed for defeat before Saborio sent a shot past goalkeeper Matt Pickens in the final minute. He equalized with a penalty in extra time.

The Rapids will open the playoffs against either Los Angeles or Columbus.

In other matches, Senegalese midfielder Birahim Diop scored a hat trick in the Kansas City Wizards’ 4-1 win over the San Jose Earthquakes, Toronto FC edged D.C. United 3-2, the Chicago Fire downed Chivas USA 4-1 and the Houston Dynamo beat the Seattle Sounders 2-1.

Diop scored in the 36th, 60th and 76th minutes for Kansas City, while Chris Wondolowski scored San Jose’s lone goal to take the league’s scoring lead.

Wondolowski’s 70th-minute goal was his 18th of the season for the Earthquakes, extending his club record and moving him one ahead of Los Angeles’ Edson Buddle. He has scored San Jose’s last 10 goals.

At Washington, Dwayne De Rosario scored twice after halftime to give Toronto F.C. the win over United in both teams’ season finale.

Santino Quaranta scored in the second minute for United, before Maicon Santos equalized.

Jaime Moreno put United ahead with a 39th-minute penalty, but De Rosario headed in Nick LaBrocca’s cross in the 48th minute and scored the winner 17 minutes later.

Brian McBride scored in his final game and Freddie Ljungberg netted one goal and set up another to lead Chicago to an away win over Chivas USA.

Calen Carr and Baggio Husidic also scored for the Fire. Giancarlo Maldonado scored for Chivas USA, which lost its final three games.

Former Fulham forward McBride, who UGG Classic Argyle Knit Boots 5879 played in three World Cups for the United States, scored in the 40th minute from a pass by Ljungberg, who played for Sweden in the 2002 World Cup.

Cam Weaver scored less than a minute into the second half as Houston ended the season with a home win over Seattle.

Seattle can finish no higher than the sixth seed in the playoffs. The Sounders will host the first leg of their playoff series.

Houston missed the playoffs for the first time in its five-year history.
