But if proof were ever needed of just how cool caravanning has become, look no further than the fact that superstars Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are said to be taking a caravanning holiday together this year!
Yes, you heard right, according to reports in many newspapers and internet sites around the world, the international singing sensation Beyoncé, along with her close friend actress star Gywneth Paltrow are whisking their husbands rapper Jay-Z and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin away for a holiday in Florida this summer…..in a caravan! Now, granted, they are unlikely to be heading here to Albion Caravans in Bradford to peruse the best used touring caravans for sale, they will no doubt be plumping for a top-of-the-range Winnebago, but the fact remains that out of all the possible luxury holidays these multi-millionaire stars could choose, they have chosen caravanning!
According to The Sun newspaper, a source “close” to the celebrities has confirmed that “Both Chirs and Jay have been on intense world tours so they really need a break. Gwyneth and Beyoncé think the jaunt – going back to nature on a high-end Winnebago – will be the ideal getaway. It will be low-key, but it’s just what they need and they’ll get to spend quality time together”.
We’re used caravan dealers, not friends to the stars, so we can’t guarantee how factual these reports are, but it certainly is true that caravanning has become so popular because of its ability to take people back to nature and to spend quality time together. For us mere mortals, this may be a “low-key” holiday, one which is highly economical, but it can also feel luxurious as long as you choose the right caravan in the first place.
