Raipur is a prominent city and a well known tourist place of Chhattisgarh. Before formation of Chhattisgarh the place was included with Madhya Pradesh. Geographically, the place is located near the central plain of the country. The place holds some religious place and among them one is dedicated to Saint Vallabhacharya. Turturiya is a another nearby village which is highlighted for some Buddhist structures.
