What choices do you have as a Woman in Society? Do you want choices?
The issue for women regarding the responsibilities of their careers over the responsibilities of their children is a huge pressure that is almost only placed on women. Many are of the opinion that a woman that chooses her children over her career is a contributor to society in that they raise their children. Others will say that stay-at-home mothers do not have a meaningful role in today’s society.
For many years, centuries in fact, women have fought and struggled for their rights. Many women have worked hard to make paths for the women following behind them and many do not see any problem with the way the world is which then shuts these open pathways down. There is no real balance between all women as to what they want from their lives and while it may be a joke to some it is a fact that we often change our minds. We see something is not working we change our minds or we see something that has better options for us and we change our minds. But is this detrimental to the way we are viewed in society as a whole?
Women strive for equality in our society, but what equality? There are still so many different restrictions that apply only to women regardless of what is reported in the world today. There are still many issues that women must fight harder for than men even though we are said to be living in a society that shows equality. There are still many forms of employment that have few if any female employees not only those fields relating to heavy manual labor but many in high powered companies as well where there is still a very masculine domination that is obvious.
There are vast differences between men and women and of course everyone is aware of this however other than the obvious physical differences there are differences not so obvious but nonetheless real. The structures of a male and female brain are completely different as is the way that the functions of the brain work for each. Our brains work in different ways and while the conclusions may in some cases be the same the way that we reach these conclusions is not always the same.
Women are constantly being exploited as well through the media and the ideas put across through the media of how women should look or the kinds of employment that is more suitable for women of different physical appearances. Society pushes the images of unrealistic shapes and sizes on to women all the while stating that we have the right to choose and we have equality however what is staring at as everyday of the more male view of women can not be considered any form of equality. But perhaps that is just my view?

This is despite the fact that in some cases there is no choice for women, even should they wish to stay at home their financial situations do not allow it, if they choose to work their family situations don
