Processes Involved In Imprimare Tricouri

Clothing manufacture has been performed on an industrial scale for decades in the modern world, and personalized shirts are no exception. The processes involved with creating custom print shirts for the seven plus billion people in the world have changed as much as making the fabric has in that time.

Depending on the company one chooses to go through to buy personalized shirts, the shirts may have their designs printed using various technologies. The two main processes for creating print shirts are screen printing and digital printing. Screen printing involves using screens, typically made of silk, to create a stencil of the design.

There are additional screens made for each color in the design as well. The process of screen printing involves imprinting the ink directly on the fabric using the screens as stencils for the design. Screen printing is a costly and lengthy process, which makes it ideal for printing large orders of the same design. Digital printing, on the other hand, is perfect for creating personalized shirts. This process is known by names, such as direct to garment printing or digital garment printing. Creating a print shirt that is unique is better done with digital printing, which prints out the design on the shirt fabric much like a regular printer prints out words on a page.

These printers use a special type of ink that is made for fabric and a special printer that is also made specifically for handling fabric. Digital printing tends to have more colors, more detailed designs, and higher resolution than the screen printing is capable of. As an example, think of the famous painting “Starry Night” by Vincent Van Gogh. To try to recreate using the screen printing process would take a lot of time and money and would quite possibly not be able to give the painting detailed enough justice.

With all of the lines, colors, shapes, shading and such, the digital printing process is far more applicable in being able to bring out every little detail of the well-known picture. That being said, for the printed shirts available in clothing stores, it is likely that the screen printing process is used considering the large numbers of shirts that must be made in order to supply all off the different stores with the proper amount of shirts. As such, many of the shirts look the same and it is easy to find someone else who has the same shirt.

For truly personalized shirts, people can not only choose their own design and colors, but they can also be secure in the knowledge that they have a one-in-a-million shirt design that fits their personality and style better than any shirt bought at a superstore.

Shirts are the canvas upon which individuals paint themselves for the rest of the world to see, and just like the variation among individuals; there should also be variation in the shirts they wear to express themselves.
