On your second visit, your dentist will fit your new veneers over the prepared teeth and do whatever trimming or adjusting that is needed. Once the veneers are fitted and cemented in place, a curing light is used to activate the dental cement, which bonds it permanently to the prepared tooth.
Porcelain veneers last up to 10 years with proper care whereas ceramic veneers only last for about 2 years with proper care.
