Educational toys include board games, puzzles, picture books, etc. the list can go on as daily new research is going on to improve the educational system and the way a child learns things. At home mostly a child learns alone or in the company of one or two siblings or friends and the parents or a guide. Group learning does not happen here. Whereas in schools though children are using tools and equipment mostly it is in a group and only sometimes individually.
