Panasonic BD 60 Blu-ray a Best Buy?
Looking for Blu-ray and dont know which one to pick? I recently bought the Panasonic BD 60 Blu-ray and Im very pleased with it. Im now enjoying movies with better quality than most movie theaters.
The picture quality of the BD 60 isstunning. There is no dispute about that.Here is the offical story. The Panasonic’s DMP-BD60 Blu-ray players employs high accuracy 4:4:4 signal technology, which working in tandem with PHL Reference Chroma Processor Plus processes each pixel of the Blu-ray Disc video signal in the horizontal direction, to compliment vertical direction processing. P4HD (Pixel Precision Progressive Processing for HD is another technology that contributes to the a cut above picture quality of the Blu-ray players. P4HD processes more than 15 billion pixels per second and applies thematchless processing to every pixel. Thats part of the scientific story if you can understand it.If not read on.
To me the specsdidnt mean a thing. It was the picture quality that mattered and in that respect, I was a happy camper. The Panasonic BD 60 is a crowd-pleasing machine. A friend of mine bought one and recommended it to me. The first time I used it I was like a hypnotized child. I sat there in awe that that kind of movie quality was available in my living room. The colors are super vivid and yet correct as are the textures. This is one incredible movie experience, so get some good discs. The audio will blow you away as well.
In addition to all of that, you get something called BDlive which allows you to get extra material through the internet.You can enjoy music, games and other distinguished features.
Any complaints? Its sometimes slow to load a disc. It can take about a minute depending on the disc. To me, this is hardly a concern. The performance quality more than makes up for it.
Maybe the best feature right now is the price. Its not a brand new model, so you can pick one up at almost half the original price! The BD60 is an important addition to your home theater. Your movies will look excellent. Even the bad ones.
