Simple decoration

Confetti was the name given to the chocolate served to the guests during a Italian wedding. This word was adopted by the English language where it came to represent tiny bits of paper. These bits of paper were used to bless the newly wedded couple. The guests threw these bits of paper on the couple.

The confetti comes in different shapes and sizes. Besides the standard shapes and sizes they can also be found in custom made shapes and sizes. To make a custom made one takes more time than a standard one. Tissue and PVC are the materials use to make them. The tissue used to make them is around 90% recycled material. Non-Metallic, Day Glo, Technoflek, and Metallic are the different types of PVC used. Materials used to make them are processed to make them fire resistant.

If one wishes to get the special effect then one should use a cannon. Continuous flow cannon and single shot cannon are the different types of cannons used. Of course one can always use their hands or a snow bag. That all depends on what kind of effect they desire.

You can find them in different shapes including hearts and the petal of a flower. One can also print material on them and use them as either thank you notes or invitations. The different colors of the confetti include red and white. They can also be used for decorating.

Nowadays there is a rise in concern for the environment, so petals of real flowers are used. They are used as they are very eco-friendly. However these petals can’t hold their color and fragrance for an extended period of time.

To overcome this problem the flower petals are preserved using two different methods. The different methods are freezing and air drying them. Air drying is the preferred method as it is very economical.
