Promoting communal harmony
In a multicultural state like India, the problems often arise whenever there are some issues regarding some racial or community the riots happen all around the country. The basic deal to abolish these kinds of sentiments from the minds of the people is to harness the mental stature of the children when they are small and don’t have knowledge about these things. It should be kept in mind that what children learn in early stage of their life that is what they will follow most of their life.
The schools are the best place for the education. It should also be kept in mind that the schools are not only the place for the education but it is also the place where the children can groom themselves by the guidance of their teachers on how to deal with other students. The teacher’s main responsibility to provide education to the children but it is also his responsibility to teach them on how to interact with other students.
The schools are the first place where a child first meets with strangers of course in the absence of their parents. This period of time will define all the future interactions of that child in the life after that.
India always has some issues regarding the religious and racism causing various causalities every time. It is because of the fact that people haven’t just been able to accept the reality of the others. We have Hindus which are always against the Muslims and they always try to find an issue on which they can have a fight and consequently killing to show their dominance. It hasn’t been Muslims only, the Christians are also killed by the religious extremes in order to make them provision by their religion. These all those people who are most of the time uneducated or they fell in the hands of those which are extremists against other religions. They elements brain wash the total mental sculpture of those people to make them another terrorism element.
This has been the reality where most of the children who are poor are taken away by these elements so that they can put up hatred in their minds right from the start. This early education then makes them to become a responsible terrorist element.
The schools therefore should be the main proposition that should be made responsible for these issues. A good early education of the curriculum and the education of the personal grooming on their interactions with other children can make these problems go by. Teachers should feel responsible for the children on how to teach them and how to make them more disciplined in their approach towards the communal harmony. It is the only way that can be applied in the personal grooming of a child then can afterwards provide a better communal harmony.
